What I am attempting to say is this: Not all Mississippi kites are trouble-makers some of them nest in close proximity to people and never cause one iota of a problem. What they do Though not as colorful as an Ornate Hawk-eagle, the Mississippi Kite is nevertheless a lovely little raptor. Some Mississippi kites fly toward people some don't. It is indeed unfortunate the Mississippi kite is not more discriminating when it comes to deciding which humans actually pose a legitimate threat to the hawk babies.
